Dowdy Gets Rowdy Against Wilson

Niveau 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 18,000 in the middle to the 10956 turn, Simon Wilson bet 18,000 and tossed in one green T-25,000 chip. David Dowdy then pushed all-in for 171,500 from two seats over to send Wilson deep into the tank.

"Do you have me covered?" Wilson asked and both stacks were very close to each other. Two minutes later, Wilson sent the cards into the muck and Dowdy chipped up without showdown.

Calandra Doubles Through Naves

Niveau 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

It remains unclear when the chips went into the middle but Salvatore Calandra was relieved at the end when he said "that's the first one I win today". His 99 had flopped bottom set while the Q8 of Tauan Naves had turned a straight on A109J. However, the A river paired the board and Calandra doubled for 31,600 with his full house.

That won the pot, as his table neighbour sent his cards into the muck.

Anuschka van Lent

A situation arose at Anuschka Van Lent's table as a player raised to 14,000 in early position. Van Lent then announced raise and put in only 15,000. The floor was called over and it was ruled that Van Lent had to make it at least 23,000.

"I have to do it," her opponent said.

"I wouldn't if I were you," Van Lent replied.

The early-position player then tanked for a few minutes. "Alright, guys, it's been a good tournament," he told his tablemates before moving all in for 65,000.

Van Lent then tanked herself for a few minutes before she called.

All-In Player: KK All in
Anuschka Van Lent: AA

"I was afraid of that," the at-risk player said upon seeing Van Lent's aces. The board ran out 89272 and Van Lent, an actress and social media influencer with more than 600,000 Instagram followers, took the pot and sent her opponent to the rail.

Set Over Set for Newman

Niveau 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jonathan Newman opened 2,200 under the gun and Kyung Lee three-bet to 6,500 from a couple of spots to his left. The action folded back around to Newman and he put in a four-bet to 15,000. Lee called.

When the K63 flop hit the felt, Newman bet 7,000, and Lee made the call.

The Q fell on the turn and Newman slowed down with a check. Lee announced all-in, and Newman snap-called his remaining 39,900.

Jonathan Newman: KK All in
Kyung Lee: QQ

The 2 river changed nothing as Newman pulled in the double.
