Heads-up on a flop of K♣10♠7♠, Rob Kuhn bet 6,000 from the button before George Dolofan raised to 15,000 in the small blind. Kuhn called.
The turn was the 6♠ and Dolofan bet 20,000. Kuhn again called and the J♦ fell on the river. Dolofan then bet 35,000.
"Tough," Kuhn said as he thought about the decision for around a minute before calling. Dolofan turned over K♠3♠ for a flush and Kuhn mucked.
Action was picked up on the river with 21,800 in the pot and the board showing Q♣A♦2♣5♣J♥.
David Feldman from the big blind checked to Roman Hrabec on the button, who bet 14,900 to put Feldman all in. After taking some time to think through his decision, Feldman made the call to put his tournament life at risk.
Hrabec tabled 10♣7♦ for ten-high, and Feldman showed Q♠10♦ for a pair of queens to secure the double up.
Three players saw a flop of A♦A♠8♠. Dominique Mosley bet 3,000. Felipe Ramos folded and Bradley Rogoff called.
The turn was the 4♥. Rogoff fired out 8,000 which was enough to get the job done as he continues to lead the table of death in the gold section.
Action folded around to Jimmy D'Ambrosio in the small blind and he limped before calling a raise to 3,000 from Henry Chan in the big blind. "You know I'm gonna lead out on any flop right," joked D'Ambrosio as the two friends from a Chicago home game prepared to battle in a heads-up pot.
D'Ambrosio kept his word following the 4♥5♥10♠ flop by tossing 3,500 into the middle. Chan stuck around to see a turn.
The Ax turn saw D'Ambrosio slow down, checking to Chan, who bet 10,000. With a "not today Henry" D'Ambrosio moved all in with the covering stack. Chan called off for his remaining 32,000 to put himself at risk.

D'Ambrosio had turned the wheel to leave Chan needing to fill up to survive. The 9♦ river kept the straight best to send last year's 31st place finisher out short of the money while propelling D'Ambrosio up the chip counts.
Patrick Popowski was in the small blind and got his last 45,000 in the middle against an opponent in early position.

Popowski was ahead with his nines as the board ran out J♠6♠4♠9♦A♠. Popowski turned a set, then improved to a flush on the river. "Yes," he cried out to celebrate his double up.
"If I didn't have the black nine I would've jumped off a bridge," Popowski added as he snapped a photo of the board before accepting the pot.
