Gilmore Doubles With Nuts

Arriving on a completed board of 58J23, Ibrahim Naim had made a bet of 14,000 into a pot of 35,000 chips from the big blind.

Jeffrey Gilmore then jammed all in for 38,000, sending Naim into the tank. Eventually, he decided he could not fold and put in a call.

Gilmore tabled A10 for the nut flush, beating the J8 of Gilmore, who played two pair.

Mendez is Hart-Broken

Three players saw the 854 flop and Ismir Dupljak checked to Drew Hart who dropped a bet of 5,500 across the line. Matthew Mendez was on the button and jammed for 32,500, Dupljak called and Hart jammed all-in, putting Dupljak at risk. After a few moments, Dupljak mucked his hand.

Hart flopped a set of fives but Mendez still had outs as he flopped a flush draw, although the 3 turn and 2 river were no help as he left the table.

Vuksanovic thought out loud for a minute or so before finding a call. Lisawad tabled AQ for trip queens and Vuksanovic mucked her cards.

Schoenberg Flips One to the Rail, Selbst Lays Down a Pair

Vanessa Selbst raised to 3,500 under the gun before Jeremy Schoenberg three-bet to 10,500 in the cutoff. The small blind then moved all in for 31,500.

Selbst went into the tank for around a minute before she folded, but Schoenberg snap-called.

"It's a classic," the at-risk player said, but he wound up on the wrong side of the coin flip after the board ran out 7A353 to send him to the rail.

"I had you beat pre-flop," Selbst told Schoenberg after the hand, saying she folded two tens.

Matusow Flops a Set, Doesn't Get Paid

James Sgro opened to 5,000 from middle position and then called after Mike Matusow three-bet to 12,000 out of the small blind.

Matusow continued for 15,000 following the Q9J flop. Sgro thought for a while before deciding to lay down his hand and was rewarded with some good news from Matusow as he flipped over QQ for the flopped set, telling Sgro that he had opted for a large sizing as he thought his opponent held jacks for a lower set.
