Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was picked up on a 4K3 flop with 10,000 in the middle.

Anna Antimony had fired out 5,000 from early position and Maury Barrett called on the button. Manuel Ruivo three-bet to 11,500 from the big blind and Antimony moved all in for 54,000. Barrett folded and Ruivo called all in for less.

Manuel Ruivo: KQ All in
Anna Antimony: 33

The turn 8 and river 7 sealed the deal as Antimony dragged in a pile of chips and Ruivo was sent packing.

Guerin Bombs the River

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Sasha Guerin raised to 2,500 from early position, and action folded to the small blind Christopher Brammer, who made the call.

The flop came K59 and Brammer check-called the bet of 4,000 from Guerin.

After the K on the turn, Brammer checked, and Guerin bet out 11,700. Brammer once again called to see a river.

The river was the 7 and after Brammer checked, Guerin bet out 31,600. After debating his decision for over a minute, Brammer tossed his hand in the muck and gave the pot to Guerin.

After the hand was over Guerin flashed 77 for a rivered full house.

Victor Bershinsky raised to 2,500 under the gun before Tanupat Punjarojanakul three-bet to 7,000 in early position. A player in the hijack moved all in for 10,000 and Bershinsky reshoved for around 50,000.

"I have to hope you both have ace-king," Punjarojanakul said as he tanked for a minute before folding two jacks.

All-In Player: 66 All in
Victor Bershinsky: AA

Punjarojanakul found out he made a good fold as Bershinsky showed down a pair of aces. The board read K3Q5 by the turn, but the river J would've given Punjarojanakul a set and a double knockout.

"I'm happy with the fold regardless," he said as Bershinsky took the pot to send the hijack to the rail.

"I only waited four hours for something like that," Bershinsky added.

Welco Sends McCullough to Rail

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Long-time Major League Baseball national sports reporter Robert "Andy" McCullough found himself short stacked with a sub-eight big blind stack at the start of Level 8 and moved all in from under the gun.

Craig Welco, who had McCullough covered, called from late position and the hands were tabled after the players in the blinds folded.

Robert McCullough: K5 All in
Craig Welco: KK

McCullough needed a lot of help, but he didn’t receive any when the dealer fanned 108A on the flop.

Welco’s dominating hand remained in control when 4 showed up on the turn, and A on the river officially sent McCullough to the rail.

Wazwaz With A Monster

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was picked up on the river in a sizable pot between Steve Wazwaz in the big blind and another player in the cutoff.

With a board reading 1076KQ and over 10,000 in the middle, Wazwaz tossed out three red chips worth 15,000 and his opponent called.

"I flopped a monster," said Wazwaz as he tabled 109 for a flush, which was good for the pot as the midwestern legend raked in the chips.

At another table, Jake Bazeley was eliminated.

Leon Norton limped in from under the gun before Lloyd Mandel bumped it up to 3,000 in middle position. Larry Serebryany called the 3,000 on the button before Norton reraised to 9,100. Only Mandel called.

Norton continued for 7,500 on 4105 and Mandel called.

The turn 9 hit the felt and Norton checked over to Mandel who fired 10,000. Norton check-raised all in for 38,200 but Mandel quickly mucked.
