On a turn of 9♣Q♦3♦J♦, Hoyin Lee had looked up an all-in bet of his opponent.
Opponent: Q♥J♥
Hoyin Lee: 7♦6♦
The 4♥ river did not improve the all-in player's two pair, and Lee's flush eliminated him. Lee dragged a sizable pot and neared a stack of 200 big blinds.
Action came in on the turn as the board read Q♦A♦10♠3♣. The pot had about 88,000 in it and two of the bigger stacks were clashing as Raul Manzanares bet 52,000 from early position.
Hai Pham was in the hijack and raised to 125,000 which Manzanares called after a moment. The river was the K♦ to put three to a royal on board. Manzanares led with a small bet of 33,000. Pham called quickly.
Manzanares tabled the K♣J♥ and Pham showed the K♠J♦ as the players bumped fists and chopped the pot up.
Kevin Killeen opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Dan Shak on the button for a heads-up pot.
Killeen proceeded to check-call bets from Shak on every street. First for 10,500 on the 6♦2♦5♦ flop, then for 35,000 on the 8♣ turn, and finally for Killeen's remaining 106,500 on the 10♥ river.
Killeen turned over a slowplayed A♦7♦ for the nut flush and Shak showed he held J♦10♦ for a lower flush to award Killeen the double up.
There were over 100,000 chips in the middle on a board of 3♠K♥A♣A♦A♥ when Tyler Hatchel shoved into his opponent for around 250,000 effective. Hatchel's opponent was deep into the tank and didn't seem to believe the story that Hatchel was telling. Eventually, the opponent pushed his stack of chips into the middle.
Hatchel tabled 7♥7♠ for aces full of sevens, and the opponent stared back at the board & his cards before tossing them into the muck for nobody to see, then vacated the tournament area.
"I was value betting," remarked Hatchel.
Sean Marshall opened the action with a raise to 7,000 from the hijack. Ihar Soika called on the button and Cory Wood defended his big blind.
Marshall continued for 11,000 on 10♠10♥6♦ and was called by both Soika and Wood.
Action checked to Soika on the 5♠ turn and he fired out 21,000. Wood check-raised to 56,000 and both his opponents mucked.
Thomas Brown opened the action with a raise to 8,000 from middle position. Ahmed Nimer called in the cutoff before Nando Keldermans moved al in for 126,000 from the big blind. Thomas Brown reraised all in for 166,000 and Miner got out of the way.
Nando Keldermans: K♥K♦
Thomas Brown: A♥A♦
A cold deck for Keldermans, the board ran out A♠6♦J♠6♣10♦ and he was eliminated.
Gregory Fournier checked from early position to Jiang Pu on a flop of 8♣10♣J♥. Pu then made a bet from the hijack, which Fournier raised to 35,000.
Pu shoved all in for a little over 100,000 chips and Fournier immediately called to put his opponent at risk.
Jiang Pu: A♥A♦
Gregory Fournier: K♥K♦
The Q♦ turn made Fournier open-ended, and he hit the 9♥ river to make a straight and crack Pu's aces with his kings. Both players made a picture of the runout before Pu said his goodbyes from the Main Event.
On another table, Eric Wasserson was one of the recently eliminated players.
