Sami Bechahed shoved for his last 525,000 from the cutoff and action folded around to Stephen Song in the big blind, who called to put Bechahed at risk.
Sami Bechahed: Q♣10♣
Stephen Song: 10♦6♣
Bechahed had Song dominated, but the K♥5♣6♦ flop paired Song's six to put him way out in front.
The 7♦9♠ runout failed to improve Bechahed and Song took the rest of Bechahed's chips.
Brian Rast opened the button to 300,000 and Bruno Porto called from the big blind.
They both saw a flop of K♣6♦Q♥ which Porto checked, Rast bet 275,000, and Porto check-raised to 725,000. Rast had another bet up his sleeve as he min-raised to 1,175,000, which Porto eventually called.
A 3♦ fell on the turn and after Porto checked, Rast gathered the remainder of his chips into a single stack and put it into the pot. The bet was 1,650,000 and Porto appeared to have just over that in his stack. It took around six minutes before Porto finally made up his mind and decided to call.
Brian Rast: K♦9♣
Bruno Porto: 7♠6♠
Porto needed some help on the river but the 5♠ wasn't what he was looking for, which meant Rast doubled up. Brazil's Porto thought he was eliminated but once the stacks were counted down, he learned that he had around 450,000 chips remaining.
Nazar Buhaiov moved all in for 950,000 in middle position as his supporters on the rail began howling. Stephen Song called in the hijack, while the rest of the table got out of the way.
Nazar Buhaiov: 2♣2♠
Stephen Song: A♥K♥
"Deuces never lose," Buhaiov's rail shouted when the cards were revealed. The 10♠8♥4♣ flop kept him in the lead, while the turn was the J♠. The river, though, was the Q♦ and Song made a straight to win the pot and send Buhaiov to the exit.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Stephen Song called from the small blind and Rodrigo Garrido Portaleoni checked his option in the big blind.
Portaleoni called a 150,000 bet from Song on the 3♠Q♥Q♠ flop and a 400,000 bet from Song on the 6♠ turn.
Song fired 1,000,000 into the middle on the A♠ river and Portaleoni shoved for 2,075,000 total — sending Song deep into the tank.
After several minutes, Song put in a call and Portaleoni turned over Q♦6♦ for a turned full house. Song couldn't beat it and Portaleoni was sent the pot.
Three players saw a flop of 9♠5♣2♠ where Brian Rast bet 850,000 from early position. Kevin Davis then raised to 1,800,000 in middle position.
Action then went on Francisco Sanchez in the big blind who moved all in for 7,000,000. Rast asked for a count of both opponents' stacks as he went into the tank for several minutes.
He eventually folded, but Davis snap-called to create a massive pot with more than 15,000,000 at stake.
Francisco Sanchez: A♠J♠
Kevin Davis: 2♣2♥
Rast said he folded two jacks as Sanchez showed down the nut flush draw, while Davis had a set of deuces. The turn was the 5♦ and Davis improved to a full house to leave Sanchez drawing dead.
Sanchez cruelly saw the 8♠ fall on the river that completed his no-good flush and laughed it off as he filmed the action before heading for the rail.
"You're a wrecking ball, man," Rast told Davis, who moved up to 26,000,000 and into the tournament chip lead.
Niklas Astedt in middle position opened to 240,000 with A♣J♠. Kristen Foxen with K♥K♦ on the button just called, and so did Tyler Montoya in the big blind with A♠J♥.
The dealer fanned a flop of A♥7♣6♥ and Astedt continued for 200,000. Foxen called, as well as Montoya to find the 5♥ turn.
All three players checked this card, but on the 6♦ river, after Montoya checked, Astedt bet 200,000.
Foxen raised to 1,300,000, so Montoya went deep into the tank. He eventually folded his two pair. Same problem for Astedt, who folded the best hand as well.
