Griff Doubles Through Bold

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Alex Keating opened to 210,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 625,000 by Joseph Bold in the cutoff. Jordan Griff then four-bet to approximately 1,700,000 from the small blind, leaving himself just 200,000 behind.

Keating quickly got out of the way and Bold went all in. Griff called off his remaining chips and a showdown was held.

Jordan Griff: AQAll in
Joseph Bold: QQ

Griff would need some help, and it came immediately on the A102 flop — pairing Griff's ace and leaving Bold drawing slim.

The 38 turn and river changed nothing and Griff doubled up through Bold.

Mercer Turns Two-Outer

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Bradley Mercer raised to 175,000 from under the gun, but Kristen Foxen in the cutoff three-bet to 500,000. The blinds folded and Mercer shoved for 2,655,000. Foxen asked for the count and called.

Bradley Mercer: KK All in
Kristen Foxen: AK

Mercer was on the edge of elimination after Foxen hit top pair on 10A6. But he saw the K turn landing on the felt to save him, and he doubled up after the 2 river.

The Trash Talking Continues Between the Brits

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Tomas Szwarcberg three-bet to 450,000 preflop and was called by Rodrigo Garrido Portaleoni, who then check-folded the Q86 flop to a bet.

Shortly after, Iaron Lightbourne raised to 225,000 and fellow Brit Abdullah Al-Shanti three-bet to 625,000 in the small blind. Lightbourne clicked it back to 1,175,000 and then called the clock on his opponent after a mere 45 seconds. "Best I can do for you mate," Lightbourne grinned.

Al-Shanti was given more time before the extra 30 seconds kicked in and he then mucked, exposing an ace first.

"Show me both and I will show mine," Lightbourne said. Al-Shanti exposed the A7 and was shown the KK by Lightbourne.

They went back and forth with more banter and Lightbourne was all smiles after further boosting his stack.

Jason James and Stephen Song were enjoying the show from up close and could barely stop laughing.

Toby Gibson
Toby Gibson

Toby Gibson played a big pot against Manuel Machado on a board of 10107103.

With several hundred thousand already in the middle, Machado faced a bet of 1,000,000 from Gibson and called, only to muck as Gibson announced quads and showed 10J.

"Let me get a picture," Gibson said before raking in the pot.

Someone at the table noted that Gibson had asked about a pay jump earlier in the hand despite having the nuts.

"I had to!" the Indiana factory worker said. "That's part of the game."

Boris Angelov in middle position raised to 160,000 and he was called by David Collins in the small blind. However Alexander Tkatschew in the big blind decided to three-bet all in for 1,985,000. Angelov four-bet all in and Collins folded KJ.

Alexander Tkatschew: KQ All in

Nawa Blows Tehan Off the Second Nuts

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Joe Tehan raised to 160,000 in middle position and picked up three callers, including Cameron Mixson on the button and Mauro Juarez and Hiroki Nawa in the blinds.

All four players checked the 257 flop and Nawa bet 350,000 on the 10 turn. Only Tehan called.

The river was the J and Nawa bet 380,000. Tehan then raised to 1,200,000 and Nawa quickly announced he was all in.

The dealer began to count out Nawa's stack as Tehan held up his cards. "It doesn't matter," Tehan said as he tossed K9 into the muck. Nawa, sitting with a giant pink pig plush figure in front of him, returned his cards face down as he took the pot.
