Slobodskoy Doubles Through Huang

Xuejun Huang raised to 170,000 and [Removed:499] then three-bet to 410,000 from two seats over. It folded back to Huang and he asked if Slobodskoy had any big chips behind, which was not the case. Huang moved all in and Slobodskoy beat him into the pot.

The A42 flop improved Slobodskoy to a set of aces and he nearly locked up the double. There was a sweat for a potential chop with the 5 turn but the 5 river paired the board for Slobodskoy to double for 1,845,000.

Foxen Flops the Nut Flush

Kristen Foxen opened to 160,000 from middle position with AK, then called after Tony Dunst three-bet to 500,000 from the button with AK.

The dealer fanned a flop of 2103 and Dunst continued for 250,000. Foxen check-called.

On the K turn, Dunst fired a second barrel of 650,000. Foxen check-called once again to find the 2 river where she checked.

Dunst checked back and sent his cards into the muck as Foxen flipped over the nut flush.

Buhaiov Gets Off to a Good Start

A few good hands for Nazar Buhaiov saw him elevate his stack into a safer position that what it was when the day began.

First, Buhaiov shoved from the small blind for 615,000 and was called by Manuel Machado in the big blind.

Buhaiov needed to connect with the board and left it until the very last moment to do so as he paired his ten on the 588210 runout.

The next hand, Toby Gibson raised from middle position to 250,000 and Buhaiov shoved for 1,310,000. The blinds folded, and despite the big opening size, Gibson also folded.

Theodore Pays Otero Off

Guillermo Sanchez Otero opened to 160,000 from the hijack and Kevin Theodore defended his big blind.

Theodore check-called a 110,000 bet from Otero on the Q2K flop and then both players checked on the Q turn.

The 5 completed the board and Theodore checked once more — prompting a 250,000 bet from Otero.

Theodore decided to look him up and Otero announced, "King," as he turned over K3 for kings and queens. Theodore couldn't beat in and mucked — awarding the pot to Otero.

Vazquez Flips Brammer to the Rail

Rolands Norietis raised to 185,000 in middle position before Christopher Brammer moved all in for 775,000 on the button. Luis Vazquez called in the big blind, while Norietis quickly got out of the way.

"Fold better?" Vazquez asked Norietis, who simply shrugged as Brammer and Vazquez went heads up to the flop.

Vazquez hit top pair on the J63 flop and Brammer couldn't catch up on the 9 turn or 5 river and was sent to the rail.

Alex-Barton Doubles Up

Shi Eliminated by Sanchez

Dian Shi was already all-in preflop and looked up by Francisco Sanchez as well as Jordan Griff. The two active players checked down the Q99K7 runout and Shi tabled his AQ for queens and nines. Sanchez had that beat with the AK and the JJ of Griff were no good either for Sanchez to score the early knockout.

Nagami Muscles a Pot

Alex Keating opened to 160,000 from early position and Tobias Matuschek three-bet to 480,000 from the cutoff. Kyosuke Nagami then cold four-bet to 1,160,000 on the button which got a fold from both Keating and Matuschek.

"Let me pick one!" Matuschek requested.

Nagami complied and Matuschek said, "One hundred percent a king," as he turned over the K.

"I know!" Matuschek said as Nagami collected the pot.
