Arieh Doubles in Triple Draw
2-7 Triple Draw
"And now we gamble" Josh Arieh commented after an uneventful six hands of Stud Hi-Lo before the game was switched to Triple Draw.
Arieh opened from the button, Garth Yettick three-bet from the small blind and Arieh soon got his stack of 795,000 in the middle. Yettick called to put him at risk.
Arieh and Yettick each drew one for the first draw. For the second draw Arieh stood pat and his rail erupted in cheers. Yettick took one.
Arieh stood pat again on the final draw and Yettick drew one again. Arieh tabled an eight with 8x6x5x3x2x and asked his opponent if he was live. Yettick replied that he was drawing dead revealing 8x7x5x2x for an eight-seven draw and ultimately catching a ten before Arieh took down a full double up.
