Trexler Sends Raymer to the Rail

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded around the table to Micah Trexler, who was on the button. Trexler raised to 130,000, and the player in the small blind folded.

WSOP bracelet winner and 2004 Main Event champion Greg Raymer was in the big blind and moved all in for his remaining chip stack, which was approximately a little more than 700,000.

Trexler, who had Raymer covered, took a moment to think over the situation before calling to put Raymer at risk.

Greg Raymer: K4 All in
Michah Trexler: A10

The dealer fanned 32J on the board, keeping Trexler’s ace in the lead. Raymer, through, picked up a flush draw.

The 3 on the turn and 5 on the river, though, didn’t help Raymer, who was eliminated.

Raymer graciously asked Trexler his name, and then autographed a fossil before handing it to Trexler. The two exchanged fist bumps just before Raymer quietly stood and exited the table.

Trexler showed the autographed fossil to the rest of the players at his table.

“It’s a cool keepsake,” Trexler said with a smile.

Gould’s ‘Beautiful Hand’ Scores Double Up

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Robert Gould moved all in at the cutoff position for his remaining 155,000.

The button and small folded, and then the player in the big blind asked for a count, which the dealer confirmed.

After a brief moment, the player in the big blind called to put Gould at risk.

“I have a beautiful hand,” Gould said before tabling his hand.

Robert Gould: J10 All in
Opponent: A6

Gould was behind preflop to his opponent’s ace, but the tables were turned when the dealer placed 6J4 on the board to give Gould a pair of jacks.

The 7 on the turn and 7x on the river gave Gould two pair and the win.

Kings Finally Make It

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Howard Smith raised from under the gun. Roberto Antelo was in the hijack and went all in for 570,000 chips. Austin Remmel had around 300,000 chips in the cutoff and called all in. When it came back to Smith, he called, having both all-in players covered.

Austin Remmel: QQAll in
Roberto Antelo: KKAll in
Howard Smith: 55

After getting cracked four times at the same table, pocket kings finally saw a turnaround on the flop of 7K3, which gave Antelo top set and a massive advantage. The turn Q gave Remmel a set as well, but he was still drawing to one out, while Smith was drawing dead. The river was the 3, sending the double-up to Antelo and eliminating Remmel.

According to the players, Remmel lost a pot versus Smith just the hand before, where Smith defended the big blind against Remmel’s preflop raise. Smith made Remmel fold two pair, after the river brought in the fourth card to a straight. Either player needed a queen for a straight and Smith showed the table he got there with Qx3x for the big blind special.

Butts Busts Opponent

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Early position moved all in for around 200,000 and Todd Butts was the only caller from the small blind.

Early position: 54All in
Todd Butts: K7

The flop came A27 which gave early position some hope of a flush but also gave Butts a pair of sevens. A player on the table noted "what a flop".

The 7 turn gave Butts trips.

Early position also missed on the 4 river, confirming his bustout with around 300 players remaining.
