Daher Leads; Seiver and Ivey Both in the Hunt in Day 3 of $25K H.O.R.S.E

Can Scott Seiver Make History?
Can Scott Seiver Make History?

Just ten players remain for the third and final day of Event #96: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E., which is set to begin at 2 p.m. local time here inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Leading the way is Albert Daher (3,630,000), who boasts over $4 million in live tournament earnings. However, Daher will have some stiff competition as every remaining player is a highly-accomplished poker professional.

Namely among them are two superstars everyone will have an eye on — Phil Ivey (1,210,000) and Scott Seiver (830,000). Ivey has had a stellar series and brought an end to a decade-long drought after taking down the $10k 2-7 Triple Draw Championship earlier in the series for his 11th bracelet. Following the victory, Ivey separated himself from the ten-time bracelet winners and now stands alone in second place behind Phil Hellmuth.

Seiver, on the other hand, is having arguably one of the greatest series in WSOP history. Seiver won his third bracelet of the series just a couple weeks ago in the $10k No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship and sits atop the leaderboard in this year's WSOP Player of the Year race. Should Seiver navigate his way to a win today, he would be the first-ever player to win four bracelets in a single series.
