"Yeah, I know, they're bad aces," Frere admitted, and some of the other players agreed they would rather have his opponent's hand.
But just like that, the flop came out 2♥2♣3♠ to improve Frere to trip deuces for a big lead. The turn 6♠ gave his opponent some life with a flush draw, but it was not to be as the river was the 4♥ to send him to the rail.
"Hey, bad aces are still aces," one of the other players said as Frere raked in the pot.
