Miguel Lopes raised to 500,000 under the gun. Mario Colavita three-bet to roughly 2,000,000 from the cutoff with 500,000 behind. When it folded back to Lopes he put Colavita all-in. Colavita called and the cards were revealed.

A horrible cooler for Lopes, and he couldn't find any improvement on the 2♥Q♥5♣4♣4♦ runout. Colavita would double up with aces.

In what was intended to be a conversation about a slew of near misses over his career, Michael Rocco flipped the script when he revealed that the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) would be his last full series for many years.

And the reason why he'll be reducing his volume at the tables may come as a bit of a shock.

During a break in Event #94: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship, he told PokerNews that he has acquired a farm in the last year, and intends to shift his focus to that venture over his card-playing exploits.

Scott Gets the Hand to Work Out Just Perfectly

Jordan Scott raised to 3,800,000 chips from the button, leaving himself with only around 300,000 behind.

Lois Dufouleur in the small blind went all in and had Scott slightly covered.

Ronald Sims in the big blind went into the tank. After a couple of minutes of thinking, he reluctantly let go of his hand. Scott called for the rest of his chips.

The flop came 9♣9♦J♠, giving Scott the lead. The turn and river were 4♦A♦ and Scott doubled up, while Dufouleur was left crippled.

Ronald Sims was not happy to observe the action and later said he folded pocket queens, which would have been the winning hand.
