Dickson Digs Into Forrest's Stack

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

Ted Forrest: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} / {X-}
Adam Dickson: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {X-}

A third player in the hand folded on fourth street, while Adam Dickson, the biggest stack at his table, bet each street from that point onward after pairing his eight. Ted Forrest called until sixth street and folded on seventh street.

Dickson appears to be one of the biggest stacks right now with almost ten times starting.

Mercier and St. Jean Battle

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Natasha Mercier
Natasha Mercier

Seven-Card Stud

Larry St. Jean: {X-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} / {X-}
Natasha Mercier: {X-}{X-} / {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Hearts} / {X-}
Opponent: {X-}{X-} / {3-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {X-}

Natasha Mercier was the aggressor in the hand, betting sixth and seventh streets. Larry St. Jean called both bets, while the third player in the hand called the first and folded to the final bet.

"Do you have a flush?" Mercier asked, and St. Jean nodded and showed {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}. "I don't know what I have yet," Mercier said and checked her cards, then mucked before adding, "How are you even in the hand? He even has the spades covered."

Both also battled in a seven-card stud hi-lo hand that was chopped, with Mercier's two pair going against St. Jean's combo draw and low. The latter ended up with just a pair of fives, though, and had to settle for half the pot.

"What is your name?" Mercier asked. St. Jean replied, "Saint. Saint Genius," then asked Mercier for the same. She replied, "Natasha." and St. Jean asked, "But what is your nickname?" before they carried on with the next hand.

Lights Out!

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Right before the hand began, the lights went out over only this table, and the floor was going to move them after the hand. The players requested it be done after Game 3 of the NBA Finals was over, as they had a prime views of the television screens.

Daniel Negreanu raised from middle position and Michael Mizrachi, the player after him, Nate Parenti on the button, John Monnette in the small blind, and the big blind all called.

Negreanu fired all three streets on the {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades} board, with everyone calling the flop and Parenti and the big blind calling the turn and river. Negreanu showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a full house, while Parenti showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the nut low to take the other half of the pot.

Following one more hand, the table was moved to one with the lights on over it.

Linton Leads the Pack

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

"I am not a tournament player," Pete Linton said with a smirk on his face, but that doesn't seem to be stopping the Brit right now. He leads the pack with some 320 players remaining. Dylan Hortin is on the way there, and his early Twitter rant after two levels with just 25 chips to show for profit has since changed.

According to Hortin, he just scooped three Razz hands in quick succession to boost his stack significantly, as well.

Nines Are Good for Heimowitz

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Lonnie Heimowitz has several mixed-game cashes to his name at the World Series of Poker, and he is well on track to add another. Heimowitz was involved in a limit hold'em hand from under the gun, along with the player one seat over and the big blind. A three-bet was called, and the action ultimately escalated on the {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} turn when Heimowitz was all in for his last 3,900.

The big blind was already all in at that point and flashed {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a full house with sixes. Heimowitz had that beat with {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}, while the biggest stack of the trio tabled {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. The blank {2-Hearts} completed the board on the river, and Heimowitz sent one opponent to the rail while more than doubling up in the process.

On the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, Ho bet-called the hijack's raise. On the {8-Diamonds} turn, Ho bet, and the hijack called. On the {7-Spades} river, Ho check-called and lost to the hijack's {J-Spades}{10-Spades} for a straight.
