Igor Kurganov Eliminated by Kyle Cartwright

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

According to a player at the table, Kyle Cartwright raised in the cutoff, and Igor Kurganov three-bet on the button. The blinds folded, and Cartwright moved all in. Kurganov called for his remaining 100,000, and he was at risk.

Kurganov: {A-}{K-}
Cartwright: {A-}{Q-}

Kurganov was in good position to double up, but the {Q-}{Q-}{6-} flop gave Cartwright trip queens. Kurganov couldn't catch up, and the bracelet winner was eliminated by Cartwright, a bracelet winner in his own right.

Kavrakov Eliminated

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jonathan [Removed:250] opened the button for what appeared to be 6,000, and small blind Atanas Kavrakov wasted no time shoving all in. We didn't have the chance to count how much it was, though it wasn't much, as the big blind folded instantly and [Removed:250] called just as quickly.

Atanas Kavrakov: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Jonathan [Removed:250]: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out an uneventful {7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Kavrakov was escorted to the payout desk.

On a board of {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {7-Clubs} with more than 15,000 in the pot, Kurt Fitzgerald checked under the gun, and Mike Watson bet 20,000.

Fitzgerald called, and Watson showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trip tens to win the pot.

Kevin Schulz Doubles Through Chip Leader Jeff Coddington

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Spades} with around 19,000 in the pot, Kevin Schulz was all in for 72,300. Jeff Coddington was on the button and called.

Schulz had {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for top two pair, and Coddington was drawing slim with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The {4-Diamonds} turn secured the double-up for Schulz. The {Q-Hearts} river improved Schulz to a full house, and he collected the pot.

Grise Hits it All

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}, Benjamin Grise (big blind) and Linyang Song (cutoff) got their chips in. Grise, all in for 37,500, was the one at risk as Song had him easily covered.

Benjamin Grise: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}
Linyang Song: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

"Ace or a spade!" Grise said.

He got them both, as the {A-Clubs} hit the turn and the {3-Spades} hit the river. Grise doubled up.

Ace on the River

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Action folded to Morten Mortensen in the cutoff, and he opened to 5,500. The button opted to fold, but bracelet winner Simeon Naydenov in the small blind was planning on playing a bit bigger. He bumped the action to 18,200 with just over 56,000 behind. The big blind folded, and action was back on Mortensen. The Dane tanked for a bit before he moved all in. Naydenov called.

Simeon Naydenov: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Morten Mortensen: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The flop ({9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}) and turn ({3-Spades}) didn't do much, but the {A-Clubs} on the river made all the difference for the player from Bulgaria. Naydenov doubled his 74,400-chip stack, Mortensen was left with 41,700.
