Willam Thomson, sitting in the under-the-gun position, limped. So did a player in middle position. Roger Carlson, in the hijack went all in for 23,500. Francine Ferguson, in the small blind, also went all in, but she had 50,000. Thomson called.

The board ran out . Carlson tripled up and Ferguson got the rest of the pot. Thomson is still comfortably in the chip lead, though.

Kevin O'Donnell Defends His Big Blind

A player in early position opened to 12,000. Action folded around to Kevin O'Donnell in the big blind who tanked for a moment and said, ''You're going after my big blind!'' before making the call.

The flop was . O'Donnell bet 5,000, and his opponent called. The came on the turn. This time, O'Donnell checked. His opponent checked back.

The river completed the board. O'Donnell took a look at his opponent's stack and threw in a bet of 40,000. That was enough for him to take down the pot.

Pete Vilandos Turns a Set

Larry Wright, on the button, raised to 11,500, and Pete Vilandos, in the big blind, called.

The flop came . Vilandos checked, and Wright bet 8,500. Vilandos shoved all in, and Wright snap-called.

Vilandos showed for bottom pair, and Wright showed for top two pair.

The turn brought the to give Vilandos trip fours. The on the river didn't change the outcome, and Wright had his hands in his hair in disbelief as the table looked on in shock.

The dealer counted Vilandos' stack, and he had 56,000 in total. Wright slowly counted out the chips he had to pay. The dealer tried to help, but Wright wouldn't let him.

"You don't touch my chips, the way you're dealing those cards!" Wright said.
