Hand #53: Blair raised to 80,000 from the hijack, Chris Johnson three-bet to 200,000, and Blair mucked.

Hand #54: James Hughes raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Johnson called from the cutoff. The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Hughes checked and Johnson bet 75,000. Hughes went into the tank for several minutes before a player at the table called the clock. The tournament director counted down from 30 seconds and Hughes eventually folded.

Hand #45: Michael Gathy pushed all in for his remaining 285,000 and was called by Eric Blair. Both players had the same hand: {a-Spades}{10-Spades} and {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, respectively. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} and it was a chopped pot.

Hand #46: Reginald Hampton limped from the cutoff and Gathy checked his big blind. The flop was {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Hampton took down the pot with a bet of 60,000.

Hand #47: James Hughes raised to 65,000 from under the gun and everyone folded.

Hand #48: Gathy raised all in from the button for 265,000 and Hughes instantly called from the big blind. Gathy held {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and was ahead of the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} from Hughes. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Gathy was able to double up.

Hand #49: Vlad Darie raised to 60,000 and Eric Blair three-bet to 230,000 out of the big blind. Darie folded.

Hand #50: Darie raised to 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Thomas Reynolds in the cutoff, Blair in the small blind, and Hampton in the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} and the action was checked to Reynolds who bet 80,000 which got everyone to fold.

Hand #41: James Hughes raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Hampton called from the hijack, as did Chris Johnson in the cutoff and Gathy in the small blind. The flop came {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Gathy led out for 135,000. Hughes and Hampton folded and Johnson called. The turn was the {a-Hearts} and both players checked to the {8-Spades} on the river. They both checked again and both players had pocket nines to chop it up.

Hand #42: Eric Blair raised to 70,000 from under the gun and everyone folded.

Hand #43: Thomas Reynolds raised to 70,000 on the button, Hughes three-bet to 185,000 from the small blind, and Reynolds mucked.

Hand #44: Gathy raised to 60,000 from the hijack and Hampton decided to defend his big blind. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Hampton check-called a bet of 90,000 from Gathy. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Hampton checked again. Gathy bet 250,000 this time and Hampton put in a check-raise to 500,000. Gathy thought for a moment called. The river was the {q-Clubs} and Hampton led out for 575,000.

"That's a bad river", laughed Gathy.

After a few minutes in the tank, Gathy slid forward a stack to call. Hampton tabled {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a set of queens and Gathy mucked his cards.

Hand #32: Johnson limped in from the small blind and Darie tanked before checking his option in the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and both players checked to the {k-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river. Johnson led out for 150,000 and Darie tank-folded.

Hand #33: Hughes raised to 65,000 from middle position, Blair three-bet to 160,000 and Hughes tank-folded.

Hand #34: Blair raised to 70,000 from middle position and Johnson asked how much he had behind before putting in a three-bet to 160,000 from the hijack. Blair moved all in and Johnson called.

Blair was at risk with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} in a coin flip scenario against Johnson's {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}, putting Blair in the lead with a pair of kings. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Johnson picked up some outs to make a straight. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Blair was able to hold on.
