Jeremy Wien Spikes the Turn to Crack Jeff Blenkarn's Aces

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jeff Blenkarn opened the action and picked up two callers including Jeremy Wien in the big blind.

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Blenkarn continued for 12,000 which got one fold but Wien check-raised all in.

Blenkarn asked for the bet to be pulled in and it was an extra 16,000 for him to call.

As he thought about what to do, Wien said to him, “I’m ahead; I’ll show you. I don’t want you to suck out on me.”

“I guess I can’t fold aces,” Blenkarn said and called.

Blenkarn: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Wien: {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The turn was the {j-Spades} and the river the {3-Spades}.

Wien hit two pair to crack aces and double up.

Mike Leah has been three-tabling all day today but just busted the $5,000 six-max tournament in 17th place.

The first hand he played again in this tournament, he went all in from the under-the-gun position for 30,700 in total. Kurt Jewell, in the cutoff, also went all in. Everyone else folded so they were heads up.

Jewell: {A-}{J-}
Leah: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} with no help for Leah and he can now fully focus on the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty tournament.

Li Fu Shoves River On Joey Weissman

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Li Fu
Li Fu

Joey Weissman was facing a big decision with the board at the river reading {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Li Fu had opened the pot with Weissman calling. Fu had then bet flop and then bet the turn and called a raise from Weissman.

On the river, Fu moved all in for 64,300 which was about a pot-sized bet. Weissman couldn’t seem to decide what to do. He asked for the stack to be counted and then twice more asked the dealer to repeat the amount to help him decide on a course of action. It didn’t seem to sway him one way or the other though and eventually another player called the clock on him.

The floor gave him 30 seconds to act and, as the seconds ticked down, Weissman gave it up.

“Never a bluff,” Fu told him as the pot was pushed her way.
