Paul Tedeschi Rivers a Miracle to Stay Alive

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} Paul Tedeschi moved all in against Humberto Brenes and Jon Seaman. Both called and the three headed to a turn.

On the {10-Clubs} turn, Seaman bet and Brenes called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Seaman checked to Brenes who moved all in. Seaman called.

Brenes: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Seaman: {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Tedeschi: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The river {6-Diamonds} gave Tedeschi the winning high hand with trip sixes. While Brenes quartered Seaman in the side pot, the two chopped up the low half in the main pot.

Christopher Hugh Takes Half

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

James Chen raised from middle position before Christopher Logue bumped it up from the next seat over. Both Christopher Carey and Scott Fitzhugh called from the blinds followed by Chen who called.

The flop fell {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the action checked around to Logue who bet. Carey then raised and Fitzhugh called. Chen folded. Logue called.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Carey led out with a bet which both his opponents called.

The {6-Spades} completed the board and Logue fired one last time and was check-called by both players in the blinds.

Logue then splashed his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} across the table and would be deemed to take half the pot with his two pair.

Fitzhugh's {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} would chop the low against Carey's {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} with both holding an ace duece.

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades} Humberto Brenes led out. Paul Tedeschi called, as did Aron Dermer. Ben Zamani let his hand go and the three headed to the turn which was the {8-Diamonds}.

On the Turn, Brenes checked. Tedeschi bet. Dermer folded, while Brenes called.

The river was the {K-Diamonds}. Brenes checked to Tedeschi who bet, then Brenes called.

Tedeschi showed {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a set and a low, while Brenes showed {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a flush for the high, and the two chopped the pot.

"If you called, I raise," Brenes told Dermer.

"I know," Dermer said. "That's why I folded, I didn't want to get trapped."

Tuan Le Eliminated; Jonah Seewald and Carol Fuchs Chop Pot

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Tuan Le
Tuan Le

Tuan Le raised from the hijack and was called by Carol Fuchs and Jonah Seewald in the blinds.

The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Fuchs bet. Seewald called before Le moved all in for his remaining 14,000. Both his opponents called for the extra 2,000.

Both Fuchs and Seewald then checked down the {7-Clubs} on the turn and {j-Hearts} on the river.

Le's {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} would not improve as Fuchs took down the low holding {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Seewald the high with {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} rivering a pair.

Denny Axel Eliminated in 45th Place ($4,698)

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Denny Axel limped. One seat over James Chen raised. Next to act, Christopher Logue raised again. Axel moved all in and both players called.

The flop came {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Logue bet. Chen called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and both players checked. On the {7-Hearts} river, Logue bet and Chen called.

Logue showed {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and that was good for the main pot with a flush as Chen mucked. Axel showed {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}, but that was no good.

"We both flopped a flush draw," Axel said jokingly as he headed to the payout desk.

Bryce Fox Eliminated by Gary Vick

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Bryce Fox raised from the hijack and was called by Gary Vick in the big blind.

The flop came down {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Vick tossed in 4,000 in chips which is all Fox had left.

"Not the flop I wanted to see," said Fox, before revealing his {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

Vick then turned his {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and had taken the lead with a pair of kings.

The board ran out the {8-Diamonds} and {3-Hearts} to see Fox unable to improve as he was sent to the rail.
