Telker Doubles Through Mandic

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Goran Mandic
Goran Mandic

Goran Mandic opened under the gun to 28,000. Action folded to Michael Telker who moved all in on the button for 253,000. Action folded back to Mandic and after getting a count, he called.

Mandic: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}
Telker: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The board was safe for Mandic when the {3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} came on the flop, and the {8-Diamonds} came on the turn, but the {Q-Spades} on the river stole that lead away. Telker's pair of queens was best and he earned a full double.

Fox Takes a Small One From Schillhabel

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Stefan Schillhabel opened on the button with a raise to 30,000. Elio Fox called from the big blind.

On the {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop both players checked to see the {7-Hearts} on the turn.

Fox checked a second time over to Schillhabel who bet 24,000. Fox called.

On the {4-Clubs} river, both players checked again. Fox showed {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Schillhabel mucked. That was good to take down the pot.

Olivier Busquet Joins the Rail

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Olivier Busquet
Olivier Busquet

A small blind vs. big blind confrontation between Olivier Busquet and Xixiang Luo left Busquet with just 11,000 chips when his {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} did not catch up to Luo's {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

The next hand, Busquet shoved all in on the button and Luo raised to 46,000 from the small blind. Steven Iglesias folded his big blind and that left the two heads up.

Busquet: {2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Luo: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and that gave Luo the flush and removed Busquet from the tournament.

Grayson Ramage Shoves on Charlie Carrel

Niveau 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With more than 150,000 in the pot and the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs}, Charlie Carrel had a bet of 125,000 in front of him in the small blind. Grayson Ramage had moved all in and the count was for 426,000.

Carrel went into the tank and asked Ramage questions. He guessed some hands that would be good to shove with and tried to get a reaction out of Ramage. Ramage wouldn't respond and Carrel stared him down for awhile. After several minutes, the clock was called and when the tournament director counted down to one, Carrel folded.
