Zakir Lakhani Eliminated

Zakir Lakhani was all in and the player at risk against Wilson Lopes.

Zakir Lakhani: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Wilson Lopes: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Lakhani grimaced as he saw his opponent’s cards and said he had almost folded. Another player named some cards that could rescue him as the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}.

No help, though, for Lakhani as the kings held and he was eliminated.

Raghav Bansal Doubles Up With Ace-High Turn Call

The board at the turn read {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Raghav Bansal in the small blind checked it to Curt Kohlberg in late position who moved all in, covering Bansal who had around 35,000 behind.

Bansal gave it a couple of minutes thought before he called.

Raghav Bansal: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Curt Kohlberg: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The river card was the {7-Clubs}, missing Kohlberg's flush draw to double-up Bansal.

Kohlberg acknowledged what a good call it was as Bansal allowed himself a small fist pump after preserving his tournament life with an ace-high call.
