Money Bubble Looms

Niveau 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Some of the action has slowed down as the money bubble is just around the corner. The tournament director has just instructed the dealers to complete the hand they are on and then stand, indicating that hand-for-hand play will be next, should it be necessary

Quads Are a Good Aces Cracker

Niveau 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Tom Hall raised to 2,400 from under the gun and his opponent three-bet him to 5,900. Hall called and the two players went heads up to the flop.

The dealer fanned the {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Hall checked to his opponent who bet 7,700. Hall clicked the check button on his laptop as he was grinding some online poker, and then raised to 17,800. His opponent quickly went all -in and Hall called even faster for 55,600. Hall tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, which was ahead of his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. The turn was the {4-Spades} and the river was the {10-Diamonds}, giving Hall quad tens and a massive double-up right before the money bubble.

Jeremy Brown Straightens Out

Niveau 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The board read {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Jeremy Brown was facing a bet of 1,500 from the big blind. Brown raised to 3,000 and his opponent called. The river was the {A-Clubs} and the action was checked to Brown who bet 5,000. His opponent showed him his cards before doing anything, while Brown sat in silence and didn't move. Eventually his opponent called and Brown tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a straight and the dealer pushed him another pot.

Randy Eklund First to 100,000 Chips

Niveau 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Randy Eklund was in the middle of scooping a huge pot and his opponent was walking away from the table after being eliminated. His cards were still face up as held {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} on a board reading {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for quad jacks. Eklund is the first player over 100,000 chips and has put himself in a good spot to cash as the money bubble looms.
