The Huttons are Expecting More Than a Bag for Day 2

Niveau 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The board read {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} with around 23,000 in the pot, and Justin Hutton was facing a bet of 11,000 from an opponent. Hutton called, and the dealer laid the {J-Clubs} on the river. His opponent checked, and Hutton bet 10,000. His opponent called, and Hutton rolled over {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for two pair to win the pot.

Hutton's wife of nine years, Kristin, is also still in the mix, as this poker couple came to play the Colossus III Day 1C together. The couple is expecting a little more than to advance to Day 2. Kristin is currently 22 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby girl in October.

Pfizer Jordan Loses a Little, Takes a Lot

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In back-to-back hands, Pfizer Jordan tangled with one of his counterparts on the table. First, Jordan called an all-in from his opponent with the board reading {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Jordan was ahead with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} vs his opponent's {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but a seven on the turn gave his opponent a straight doubling him up to 128,000.

In the next hand, the same opponent opened to 9,000 from early position and Jordan raised to 23,000. His opponent put out a four-bet to 45,000 and Jordan called. The flop came {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and his opponent bet 41,000. Jordan raised all-in for 126,000 putting his opponent to the test. The clock was eventually called and the player was given 30 seconds to act. He eventually folded and Jordan showed a {6-Spades} but kept the other card hidden.
