With around 10,000 in the pot and the board reading {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, John Monnette checked in early position, and Mike Gorodinsky bet 5,700 on the button. Monnette check-raised to 13,000, and Gorodinsky moved all in for around 29,000. Monnette called, and Gorodinsky was at risk.

Monnette: {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Both players had trip sevens with an ace kicker, but the {10-Hearts} turn gave Monnette sevens full of tens. Gorodinsky also filled up on the {4-Clubs} river, but Monnette's boat was better, and the 2015 WSOP Player of the Year was eliminated.

Monnette is once again at the top of the counts.
