Mio's Runner Runner Upsets Kyriakides
Miltiadis Kyriakides may have very well been another chip-millionaire at the end of Day 2, but a runner-runner miracle of Hani Mio in the very last hand of the night destroyed that dream. Mio check-raised a flop of out of the big blind to get his remaining stack of 166,000 into the middle and Kyriakides snap-called.

Kyriakides had flopped the nut straight and Mio had a gutshot to the same straight. Instead of a split pot, the nightmare of Kyriakides consisted of the turn and river, giving Mio a runner runner flush. Kyriakides turned away from the table in horror and his chair fell over while Mio scored a big double in the last hand.
