Today Event #56: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em is set to begin at 11 a.m. Last year, 863 players entered this event with Yue Du taking home that coveted gold WSOP bracelet and the first prize of $800,586. Du became the first player from the People's Republic of China to win a World Series of Poker bracelet.

This will be a four-day event. Players who enter will receive 25,000 in tournament chips. Levels will be 60 minutes long with 20-minute breaks every two levels and a 90-minute dinner break after the sixth level. Ten levels of play are scheduled for today with registration open through the break after Level 8 which should come at approximately 9.30 p.m.
