WSOP Returns to the Virtual Felt as the $3,333 Big Grind Online Kicks Off at 3:33

The second online bracelet event of the 2017 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is up for grabs today as Event #61: The $3,333 Big Grind Online kicks off at 3:33 p.m. local time in Las Vegas.

The first of it’s kind, the Big Grind Online is the largest buy-in bracelet event the WSOP has ever offered through its online client. This will be the second bracelet awarded on the virtual felt during the 2017 series. Joseph “ul_gg” Mitchell snatched the first one in Event #8: $333 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em Little Grind, defeating 1,779 runners to win a top prize of $122,314.

Mitchell is already registered for today’s online event, as is Mike “ufo1234” Ziemba who finished 12th. There are currently 37 players registered and that number will continue to rise as late registration remains open for four hours and reentries are unlimited during that time.

Players will start with 25,000 chips and blinds will increase every 20 minutes. This is a single-day event, so once it starts, the action continues throughout the evening and into the night until a new WSOP gold bracelet is awarded.

You can register online via WSOP.com. Information on how to deposit can be found here. To learn how to download the mobile app, check out wsop.com/mobile-poker/.

A few other noteworthy points:

  • If anyone needs support signing up for this event, they can go to Lambada Ball Room located at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino.
  • Players need to be 21 and in the state of Nevada to play.
  • Players can play multi-table live and online (you can play online at the table in the Rio) as long as you don't slow down live play.
  • Players have the option of playing on their laptop, tablet, or phone.
