Silver Tops the Counts

Niveau 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

As we passed by the table featuring former chipleader Leon Tsoukernik, Max Silver, and Talal Shakerchi, it appears the chips have made their way around the table.

Silver looks to be the new tournament chip leader and, by the size of the chunk missing from Tsoukernik's stack, it is safe to say that is where Silver's new additions came from.

Lee and Mirzikinian Win Pots

Niveau 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

On the river of a {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} board, Mack Lee bet 24,000 and Millard Hale tossed in a single T$25,000 chip for the call. Lee turned over {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Spades} for a full house. Hale mucked and dropped to around 80,000. Brandon Shack-Harris on the same table has even less chips than that while Vitaliy Lunkin managed to build his stack early on.

One table over, the three-way flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} saw a bet of 2,500 by Warwick Mirzikinian in the big blind and Micah Smith called. Quan Zhou folded on the button. The {J-Diamonds} turn was checked by Mirzikinian and Smith before the former bet the {2-Spades} river for 3,000. Smith called and was shown {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a six-high straight by Mirzikinian.

"See what happens when you attack my big bling? The small blind is okay, but leave my big blind alone," Mirzikinian added while raking in the pot. Ben Tollerne could only smile, having recently sat down in the three seat.

Tsoukernik Busts Kakhmazov, Takes Huge Lead

Niveau 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Nadar Kakhmazov opened to 4,450 and got calls from Leon Tsoukernik, a player in early position, and Max Silver.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Tsoukernik led, betting pot. The bet was 19,200 and Silver called. Kakhmazov three-bet pot, which put him all in for about 97,000.

Tsoukernik four-bet jammed all in and Silver leaned back, saying, "I might need a while guys."

A crowd began to gather as Silver examined Tsoukernik's stack, realizing he was covered. "I'm the chipleader, so it doesn't matter what happens. I'm still in," Tsoukernik told the crowd that had gathered around the table.

After a few moments, Silver folded.

Kakhmazov: {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Tsoukernik: {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Tsoukernik was in the lead and held through the turn and river — {10-Spades}{j-Spades} — improving to a straight and sending Kakhmazov to the rail moments after he took his seat.

On the three-way turn reading {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Vivian Saliba bet 3,650 from the small blind and Roberto Romanello called in the big blind, while Hon Cheong Lee on the button folded. The {4-Hearts} river completed the board and Saliba checked. Romanello bet 9,000 and Saliba quickly tossed in a single chip for the call.

Romanello sent his cards into the muck and he forfeited the pot. Saliba didn't have to show her cards in order to claim the pot.

Rybin Forces Out O'Shea

Niveau 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

A fairly big pot had emerged by the {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades} turn and John O'Shea bet 5,100 from the hijack. His sole remaining opponent, Alexey Rybin, called from one seat over in the cutoff, and the {Q-Clubs} fell on the river. O'Shea slowed down and checked while Rybin bet 15,000.

That was good enough to win the hand without showdown, as O'Shea sent his cards into the muck and took an early hit to his stack.
