Mike Matusow had been fairly quiet for the first hour or so and his chips were climbing. However, once the chips started to drop, Matusow's mouth started to open. "What do you think I am, a chump? How many times are you going to three-bet me?" Matusow was saying to his opponent beside him.
Merely seconds later, the fire alarms started to go off in the Amazon Room. "Every time I start to run my mouth, the fire alarms go off!" Matusow was screaming across the room. "Maybe we can get lucky and this place will actually burn down. Then we can all get our money back."
The table had a good laugh at Matusow competing with the fire alarm to see who could be louder.

With the board reading and around 40,000 in the pot already, Bernardo Dias had put out a stack of orange from middle position, putting Jack Duong to a decision for his remaining stack of 31,200.
Duong called the clock on himself, and when the floorperson came over to the table and learned he called it on himself, she announced that he had ten seconds left to act, and began counting down.
Duong was surprised and asked, "Hold on, what?"
His tablemates explained the rule that if you call the clock on yourself you only get ten seconds. The countdown had begun, and Duong said, "Wait. You already started?"
"Seven, six, five," and in a fluster, Duong put forward his stack to call.
Dias tabled , and Duong's for the straight to the king was good for the double up.
