Hand #167: Sinclair raised to 1,500,000 from under the gun, and Blumstein three-bet to 4,500,000 on the button. Sinclair folded.

Pedro Oliveira

Secondary Table Hand #190: Pedro Oliveira raised to 1,500,000 from the hijack and John Hesp called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of a {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Spades} board where Oliveira bet 2,200,000. Hesp check-raised to 5,000,000, Oliveira reraised all in for just about 15,000,000, and Hesp called.

Oliveira: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Hesp: {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Oliveira trailed with two pair against Hesp's flopped flush, and found no help from the {8-Clubs} river, ending his Main Event in 11th place for $675,000.

Secondary Table Hand #188-189: Miracle Double for Piccioli

Niveau 36 : 300,000/600,000, 100,000 ante
Bryan Piccioli
Bryan Piccioli

Hand #188: Antoine Saout opened with a raise to 1,200,000 from under the gun. Action folded around and Benjamin Pollak put out a three-bet to 4,000,000 on the button. Everyone folded and Pollak was able to take down the pot.

Hand #189: Bryan Piccioli opened shoved all in from the small blind for 8,650,000. Saout thought for a bit, shrugged, then called from the big blind and the hands were tabled.

Piccioli: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Saout: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades} putting Piccioli in a deep hole as Saout flopped trips. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn didn't help him improve either. But the river was the {8-Clubs} and Piccioli's rail exploded with a cry of cheers and screams as he hit a miracle two outer to make a full house.

"It's an 888 conspiracy!" Someone on Piccioli's rail yelled.

Piccioli doubled to over 17 million after being the shortest stack in the tournament just moments before. Saout's stack is still healthy despite the hit, as he sits with just over 44 big blinds.

Scott Blumstein
Scott Blumstein

Hand #159: Dan Ott raised to 1,300,000 from the under the gun, and Ben Lamb three-bet to 3,700,000. Ott tossed his cards into the muck, and Lamb picked up the pot.

Hand #160: Scott Blumstein raised to 1,200,000 on the button, and Ott called from the big blind.

The flop came {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and both players checked to the {8-Clubs} on the turn. Ott led out for 2,000,000, and Blumstein called. The {9-Hearts} landed on the river, and Ott bet 1,000,000. Blumstein called.

Ott tabled {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes. Blumstein showed {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights to take down the pot.

Hand #161: The action was folded to Lamb, who raised to 1,300,000 on the button. Both Ott and Michael Ruane called from the blinds, and they went three ways to the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. The blinds checked to Lamb, who continued for 1,900,000, and that was good enough to earn him the pot.

Hand #162: Blumstein raised to 1,300,000 from under the gun, and Damian Salas called from the big blind. The flop was {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and Salas checked to Blumstein, who bet 1,100,000. Salas threw his cards away, and Blumstein took down the pot.

Hand #163: Everyone decided to take a breather, and Blumstein was the beneficiary of a walk.
