Lentrodt Doubles his Short Stack

Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Thomas Lentrodt was all in for a mere 3,200 with the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and his sole remaining opponent to the left called with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The board of {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} brought no surprise and Lentrodt doubled. Below are further assorted counts from level four.

Van Wesemael Gets There on the River

Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a limped pot, the flop fell {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the action was checked to the hijack who made an overbet of 750. The small blind raised to 2,000 and Sander van Wesemael re-raised to 4,700 from the big blind. The hijack folded and the small blind made the call.

The {6-Diamonds} landed on the turn and the small blind checked to van Wesemael who fired 3,300. His opponent called and the {2-Diamonds} hit the river putting four diamonds on the board. Both players checked and the small blind turned over {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Van Wesemael tabled {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, which missed the straight draw but nailed a flush on the river.

Coelho Busts in Three-Way All In

Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Heiko Beilhardt limped in, another player raised to 400 and Claudio Coelho made it 1,200 to pick up calls from both players. The action then escalated on the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop with all three players getting their stack in. Coelho had the worst of it with {A-}{10-} while Beilhardt had flopped two pair with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

The third player in the hand held {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut flush draw and picked up some more outs with the {K-Clubs} turn. However, the {J-Clubs} river gave Beilhardt a full house and Coelho as shortest stack was eliminated. Beilhardt doubled through the other player for 19,450 and jumped to almost three times the starting stack.

Lie Builds Stack

"Floor, time please," the announcement came from one of the latest tables to open and the three-way board already lay complete with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{A-Spades}. The player on the button had bet 7,000 and Aylar Lie eventually called that after the clock was called on her, the cutoff folded.

The button showed {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Lie, who could barely see the cards from the other side of the table, asked: "what is it?" Once the straight was announced, Lie rolled over {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house and won the pot.

Koleno Shoves Into Pfeffer

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Robert Schulz raised to 400 and Kristen Bicknell three-bet to 2,000 from the small blind. Schulz eyed Bicknell's stack, who replied with "I started with 25" and the German, now based in Vienna, then four-bet to 5,100. Bicknell gave it some consideration and folded.

Once the blinds went up, Stanislav Koleno faced a raise to 600 by Richard Pfeffer on a different table nearby. Koleno three-bet to 1,800 from one seat over and Pfeffer called. On the {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Pfeffer checked and called a bet of 2,000 by Koleno before the {9-Spades} turn was checked. Pfeffer also checked the {9-Hearts} river and Koleno moved all in for exactly 7,000.

Pfeffer asked for a count but ultimately ended up folding.

James Hoeppner

With around 1,500 in the middle, the flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and James Hoeppner checked from the big blind. The player in middle position made a bet of 900 and Christopher Schofield called on the button. Hoeppner also called and the {5-Spades} landed on the turn.

Hoeppner checked again and the player in middle position fired another 2,450. Both Schofield and Hoeppner called and the {10-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. The action was checked around and Schofield showed {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush. Hoeppner, however, flipped over {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a full house on the river and took down the pot.

Diaz Cracks Kings to Double

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

With some 3,000 in the middle and the board showing {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Federico Diaz checked and his sole opponent in the cutoff bet 2,225. Diaz check-raised all in for 12,800 and his opponent reluctantly called with the {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Diaz turned over the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a turned full house and held up thanks to the {6-Hearts} river.

Korochenskiy Folds to Shove

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 50 ante
Anatoly Korochenskiy
Anatoly Korochenskiy

A big pot was brewing on the table of Viktor Kovachev, Anatoly Korochenskiy, Pierre Neuville and Thomas Pettersson. The flop showed {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Korochenskiy bet 5,050 in the small blind. Kovachev moved all in for 14,975 and Korochenskiy started to talk in Russian to get any kind of information from Kovachev.

Neuville jokingly said "dawai dawai dawai" which translates to "come on" and Pettersson grabbed his glass of beer and replied to Neuville with a "Nastrovje!" (cheers) before taking a sip. Korochenskiy eventually folded the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} face up and asked in English if Kovachev had ace-king, but received no reply.

At the same time one table over, Fabian Gumz was all in for the last 5,400 with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and was called by an opponent with {A-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The board came {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Gumz tossed over his chair while jumping up and leaving the tournament area.
