Nilsen Busts One With Quads

Scott Stewart, who finished 13th in the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event for $535,000, opened to 700 and picked up no fewer than four callers including rex Clinkscales, Jorgen Nilsen in the cutoff, Fabrice Halleux on the button and the small blind. The big blind three-bet to 4,300 and the action folded back to Nilsen, who four-bet to 16,000. Halleux folded and the small blind did so, while the big blind moved all in for around 16,000 to create the following showdown.

Trouble for Fernandez

Francisco Fernandez was moved tables early on and the new table is quite tough, including Sander van Wesemael and Josef Gulas. Fernandez' stack was quickly cut into half and he just limped from the button, the small blind filled up and van Wesemael in the big blind checked.

On the flop, the action checked to the Spaniard and he bet 700. Only the small blind called and the duo checked through the turn. After the river, the small blind overbet the pot for 6,500 and Fernandez, who had barely more than that behind, gave it plenty of consideration before folding.
