Aleksandar Tomovic opened to 12,000 from early position and Arsenii Karmatckii ripped all-in for 66,500 on the button. The action was back on Tomovic who thought for a couple minutes and eventually called as players were about to head on a break.

Karmatckii couldn't find any help on the board of and he was sent to the payout desk. In the very last hand of the level one table over, Ivo Donev ran out of chips, too, and the field was reduced to the last 75 hopefuls.
Among those to run out of chips quickly after returning for level 17 were Avelino Hernani Ribeiro, Steffen Retterholt and Werner Scharnagl. The latter had survived the bubble after doubling his short stack and joined the rail just now.

The board ran out and Pereira was unable to connect. He was eliminated while Kondraszuk stacked a pile of chips, amounting to nearly 400,000.
Before going into the break, Dominik Arnold increased his stack by quite some margin and the biggest pot of that came off a rivered nut straight with . Jeff Cormier looked him up for 22,000 and failed to beat the nuts, dropping to just over average as a result.
Peter Bstieler raised to 10,500 from the button and Rene Crha called from the big blind. The flop fell and Crha check-called a bet of 11,500 from Bstieler.

Fahredin Mustafov just changed tables after building up one of the larger stacks in the room and was faced with an all-in of 62,500 from James Akenhead. Mustafov was in the big blind and made the call with . Akenhead turned over and was slightly ahead.
The flop came and Mustafov got the chips ready to send Akenhead's way. The on the turn gave him some hope, but the on the river secured the double up for Akenhead.
