Hands #6-10: Badziakouski Doubles Through Khangah

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Hand #6: Ahadpur Khangah limped in from early position with the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Dominik Nitsche in the hijack raised to 3.5 million {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Action folded back to Khangah and he let it go.

Hand #7: Khangah limped the next hand with the {A-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Mikita Badziakouski moved all in for 9.425 million with the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} in the hijack. Khangah verified with the dealer that Badziakouski was indeed all in and called.

Badziakouski had the dominating kicker and dodged a sweat on the board of {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to double.

Hand #8: Nitsche made it 2 million to go with the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Andreas Eiler three-bet on the button to 5.8 million with the {A-Spades}{9-Spades}. Thomas Muehloecker in the small blind had the {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and gave it brief consideration before folding while Steffen Sontheimer in the big blind had {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Sontheimer folded, as did Nitsche, and Eiler raked in the pot.

Hand #9: Nitsche raised to 2 million with the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Thomas Muehloecker called on the button with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The flop came {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades} and both players checked. After the {3-Spades} turn, Nitsche bet 2.2 million and Muehloecker called to see the {3-Clubs} on the river. Nitsche bet 8 million with his full house and Muehloecker took a long time to make up his mind. Sontheimer called the clock on the Austrian and a few seconds later Muehloecker mucked.

Hands #1-5: Kabrhel Doubles Up

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Hand #1: The action folded to Steffen Sontheimer in the small blind with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and he raised to 3.5 million. Ahadpur Khangah folded the small blind and Sontheimer won another pot.

Hand #2: Andreas Eiler raised to 2.2 million from the hijack with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Dominik Nitsche called in the big blind with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The flop was {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Nitsche check-called a bet of 1.6 million from Eiler. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the river. Nitsche checked for the third time and Eiler bet 4.2 million. Nitsche took a couple moments but eventually found a fold.

Hand #3: The action folded to Nitsche in the small blind who pushed all in with {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Mikita Badziakouski was in the big blind with {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and let his hand go.

Hand #4: Eiler raised to 2.2 million from early position with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #5: Thomas Muehloecker opened to 2.2 million from early position with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Martin Kabrhel re-raised to 6.0 million from the small blind with {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Meuhloecker announced all in and Kabrhel called for a total of 6.7 million.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} giving Kabrhel a pair of aces. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and the river brought the {5-Hearts}, giving Muehloecker no help. Kabrhel doubled up through the chip leader and politely said "Thank you" to the dealer afterwards.

Charlie Carrel Eliminated in 9th Place (€295,131)

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante
Charlie Carrel
Charlie Carrel

In the very first hand of the unofficial final table, the action folded to Charlie Carrel on the button and he moved all in for 7.3 million and Steffen Sontheimer called from the big blind.

Charlie Carrel: {K-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Steffen Sontheimer: {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The flop of {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} was as bad as it could get for Carrel, as he needed running cards to avoid elimination. Carrel was drawing dead on the {5-Clubs} turn, making the {7-Spades} river a formality. The Brit was eliminated in 9th place and takes home €295,131 for his efforts, leaving the table with his usual trademark smile.

Kenny Hallaert Eliminated in 10th Place (€295,131)

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Kenny Hallaert pushed all in for 7.0 million from the cutoff. Martin Kabrhel tank-folded in the small blind and Dominik Nitsche made up for lost time by instantly calling in the big blind.

Dominik Nitsche: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Kenny Hallaert: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip for Hallaert's tournament life and the dealer fanned the flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Nitsche took the lead with a pair of kings and Hallaert was at risk of being eliminated. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and the river landed the {6-Hearts}. Hallaert became the tenth-place finisher and the remaining nine players will now join on one table for the unofficial final table.

Kabrhel Doubles Through Nitsche

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel was first to act and checked the action on the feature table, subsequently the clock was called on him. Right after, he moved all in for 4.075 million and Dominik Nitsche called from one seat over. All other players folded and the cards were tabled.

Martin Kabrhel: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Dominik Nitsche: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

While Nitsche flopped a queen it was no good with the board running out {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds} to let Kabrhel double.

One hand later, Charlie Carrel moved all in and Kabrhel was in the big blind. "Do you want to gamble?" Carrel asked to Kabrhel, repeating the same question he was being asked previously by the Czech. "I am a post flop gambler, not pre flop," Kabrhel replied. More table chat followed and Kabrhel elected to fold.

Khangah Finally Stops Muehloecker

Niveau 22 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Ahadpur Khangah raised to 1.6 million on the button and Thomas Muehloecker three-bet to 4.5 million from the big blind. Khangah called and the flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Muehloecker check-called a bet of 6.0 million from Khangah.

The turn landed the {3-Diamonds} and Muehloecker checked again. Khangah announced all in for 7.075 million and Muehloecker called. Khangah tabled {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for top pair and Muehloecker showed {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and a flush draw. The {3-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Khangah double up.

After taking a beating from Muehloecker to start the day, Khangah finally fought back and took a chunk of chips from Muehloecker, who still holds the current chip lead.
