Magalashvili No More

Niveau 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Magalashvili left his table with a smile, though that was not a good sign and the player from Israel confirmed his elimination. "I three-bet shoved with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and the guy behind me called with {A-}{K-}."

Magalashvili was in need of help and flopped a flush draw, then turned chop outs only for the river to brick off with the {6-Clubs}. The player in question that now has his chips is no other than Brice Jungmann, who went from well below average to 1.4 million in a matter of minutes.

Minchev and Horacek End Up in Bad Beat City

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Yannick Pernot moved all in from late position and Tsani Pinchev called for his last eight big blinds with the {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Pernot only had {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} but got there on the board of {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Soon after, Pernot raised to 50,000 and Jiri Horacek moved in for 217,000, which Pernot reluctantly called after checking the tournament info screen.

Pernot once again had the inferior kicker with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} versus {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, but got there on the board of {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} to boost his stack just above average.

Oghabian Remains In

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Down to just 131,000, Milad Oghabian was all in with the {A-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Yannick Pernot put him at risk with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Tobias Peters, who had railed the table, said "the ace will come" and sure enough the flop fell {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to give Oghabian two pair. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {6-Clubs} river were blanks and the Dutchman doubled his short stack.

Levy Fills Up on the Turn

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Kfir Levy opened from early position and Bahram Khaksan shipped all-in for his last 240,000 on the button. Levy made the call and tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Khaksan was disappointed to see his opponent's hand as he held {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. The dealer fanned the flop and the {a-Diamonds} was right in the window.

Khaksan's face beamed with joy but the ace was quickly followed by the {k-Hearts} and {9-Hearts}. Levy also made a set leaving Khaksan drawing slim. The turn was the {a-Clubs} giving Khaksan some outs but the {4-Hearts} on the river dashed his hopes. Levy's full house eliminated Khaksan and there are now just six tables remaining.

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Theil sent his stack of around 650,000 with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} into the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} of Sebastian Benoit and found no help on a seven-high board.

Right after, Mihai Hanu one table over and Gergo Kovacs three-bet shoved for 20 big blinds with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} into the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} of Lukasz Wasek.

Other current big stacks include Jonathan Khalifa, Sascha Ranzinger, Ivalyo Sivinov and Makarios Avramidis.

Pasini Spikes the River to Triple Up

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Ognjen Sekularac was under the gun, Tamas Fricz was on the button, and Domenico Pasini was in the small blind. The three players had all their chips in the middle when we arrived at the table. Fricz started the hand with 317,000, Pasini had 331,000 and Sekularac had them both covered.

Pasini: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Sekularac: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Fricz: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board read {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Sekularac looked to be in prime position to score a double knockout and win a huge pot. The river landed the {8-Clubs} and Pasini made a full house to nearly triple up. Fricz was eliminated while Sekularac was left with under 100,000 chips.

Skorepa Busts Keijzer and Curcu In Massive Three-Way All In

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Ronald Keijzer
Ronald Keijzer

From under the gun, Ronald Keijzer moved all in for around 450,000 and Matous Skorepa three-bet all in for more than 1.4 million. Sebastian Curcu in the big blind, who had just doubled up to 1.2 million, checked his cards and called instantly.

Ronald Keijzer: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Matous Skorepa: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Sebastian Curcu: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

Skorepa's face was in pain until the flop fell {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} that gave the Czech a full house. The {10-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} river were both blanks and the double knockout vaulted Skorepa into the top spot.

Kratochvil Wins a Race Against Schirmer

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Xenos Schirmer ripped all-in for 345,000 from middle position and Karel Kratochvil pushed all-in over the top from the button. The blinds folded and the two hands remaining were face up.

It was a race scenario with Schirmer holding {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and Kratochvil tabling {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Schirmer was unable to connect with his overcards as he was sent to the payout desk.
