Viliyan Petleshkov raised from the button and called the three-bet shove of Gergo Kovacs for 79,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Kovacs turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and the board came {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to see Kovacs double.

Günter Fortkord was less fortunate after running with {A-}{K-} into the {K-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Philipp Lutkemeier. After a board of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, the Austrian was left drawing dead on the turn already.

Yankov Busts to Brunner

Niveau 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Krasimir Yankov
Krasimir Yankov

In a raising war, Krasimir Yankov and Marcel Brunner had already invested more than half of his stack and table neighbor Brunner eventually called the shove of Yankov for 100,000 more. Once the cards were shown, Yankov wasn't too happy about it and in need of help.

Krasimir Yankov: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Marcel Brunner: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Yankov's tournament came to an end. Also out: Roland Israelashvili, amongst others, while fewer than 180 players remain.

Zoufri Doubles Through Ranzinger

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Abdelhakim Zoufri
Abdelhakim Zoufri

At the end of the previous level, Sascha Ranzinger opened from the cutoff for 22,000 and Nebojsa Ankucic called on the button. Abdelhakim Zoufri shoved in the small blind and the action was back on Ranzinger. The German tanked for quite some time and the clock was called on him, Ranzinger called with a few seconds left and Ankucic folded pocket tens.

Abdelhakim Zoufri: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Sascha Ranzinger: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop gave Ranzinger two pair, but Zoufri regained the lead with the {Q-Spades} turn. A blank {3-Diamonds} river changed nothing anymore and Ranzinger, who was up to almost a million in chips before the hand, dropped some.

Racener's Two Pair Gets Crushed

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
John Racener
John Racener

Gaetan Cauchy raised from the hijack and John Racener called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} and Racener checked to Cauchy who continued for 40,000. Racener check-raised to 85,000 and Cauchy pushed all-in for 211,000. Racener instantly called and Cauchy tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

Racener out-flopped him with {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Cauchy immediately was displeased. He pushed all of his chips forward and stood up from his chair, spewing out a few French curse words. The dealer burned and turned the {a-Spades} and Cauchy's emotions instantly reversed.

"Yes! Yes!" Cauchy was screaming as he turned a set of aces, leaving Racener drawing dead to the {q-Spades} on the river. "Why did you call me with three-four?" Cauchy asked.

"Because you put all of your chips in drawing to 5%," Racener replied with a laugh. His chip stack wasn't as funny as he was left with under 100,000 and would bust shortly after.

The Rich Get Richer

Jens Jorgensen

"Wow and I almost fell asleep," Jonathan Khalifa added after looking up from the massage. What had happened? Khalifa only knocked out one of the opponents with an above-average stack in the classic aces versus kings setup. The other player happened to be Jens Jorgensen, who four-bet all in for around 450,000 with the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Khalifa snap-called with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

After a board of {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, the rich got richer and Khalifa soon approaches two million in chips.

Ruben Garcia Blancas raised and called the shove of Alex Foxen for 16 big blinds with near identical stacks.

Alex Foxen: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board of {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} provided no help for the 2017 WSOP Player of the Year contender and he was sent to the rail.

Hossein Ensan

Ruben Garcia Blancas cleaned up his table further as Maria Zijthof and Jeff Cormier were both eliminated.

Also on the rail is Hossein Ensan. The German faced a raise to 40,000 and a call by Rene Crha. Ensan moved in for 130,000 out of the blinds and the initial raiser called, then folded to the push of Crha.

Hossein Ensan: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Rene Crha: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

"Four!" Ensan demanded and pointed with his finger to the upcoming board. Instead, the flop fell {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and even Ensan could all but crack a smile, while the {9-Diamonds} turn and {J-Clubs} river completed the board. Ensan walked ovee to Crha to shake hands and headed to the payout desk after.

Kenny Hallaert

Makarios Avramidis opened to 75,000 from the cutoff and Kenny Hallaert three-bet to 180,000 in the small blind. Avramidis called and the flop came {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the turn and Hallaert led out for 140,000. Avramidis called and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Hallaert pushed all-in for around 255,000 and Avramidis quickly tossed in a chip to call. Hallaert turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} but Avramidis tabled {4-Spades}{3-Spades} for trip fours.

Skorepa Busts Keijzer and Curcu In Massive Three-Way All In

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Ronald Keijzer
Ronald Keijzer

From under the gun, Ronald Keijzer moved all in for around 450,000 and Matous Skorepa three-bet all in for more than 1.4 million. Sebastian Curcu in the big blind, who had just doubled up to 1.2 million, checked his cards and called instantly.

Ronald Keijzer: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Matous Skorepa: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Sebastian Curcu: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

Skorepa's face was in pain until the flop fell {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} that gave the Czech a full house. The {10-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} river were both blanks and the double knockout vaulted Skorepa into the top spot.
