Kings for Sonmez

Niveau 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Abdelhakim Zoufri raised and fellow Dutchman Albert Hoekendijk just called to see both players check down a jack-high board. Zoufri showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped pair of nines and Hoekendijk mucked {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Erkan Sonmez won the last hand on his table after his raise was called by Willem de Jong and Stanislav Koleno in the blinds. The action checked to Sonmez, who bet 70,000. Koleno folded very reluctantly and was shown {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

The private duel between Rene Crha and Serghei Lisiy also continued and the starting contest ended seven minutes into the break. Crha opened to 40,000 on the button and Lisiy just called. On the {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop both players took time before checking and did so again on the {K-Hearts} turn. Lisiy bet the {6-Hearts} river for 52,000 and Crha's raise to 135,000 won the pot.
