Stepan Osinovski Eliminated in 9th Place (€74,737)

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Stepan Osinovski
Stepan Osinovski

Marti Roca De Torres raised to 175,000 from under the gun and Stepan Osinovski from two seats gave it plenty of consideration, then counted his stack.

The clock was called on him and Osinovski then three-bet to 550,000. Roca De Torres moved all in and Osinovski asked for a count, which was determined to be for 2,890,000, before calling it off for 2,855,000 himself after a lot of consideration including the clock being called on him the second time during the hand.

Stepan Osinovski: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Marti Roca De Torres: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

After the {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, Osinovski had a back door sweat, but that was all over after the {J-Clubs} turn to make the {7-Diamonds} river a formality. He is a sales manager back home in Russia and qualified for this event through the satellites on partypoker after earning a ticket through the rakeback program.

Osinovski is an online player that can be found on the Spin & Go tables and had $693 in live cashes only, while also being a decent chess player as well. The Russian will skyrocket his earnings on the live circuit after collecting €74,737 for his efforts.

Kevin MacPhee Eliminated in 10th Place (€74,737)

Niveau 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kevin MacPhee
Kevin MacPhee

Over on the feature table, Kevin MacPhee raised to 115,000 first to act and Maria Ho called in the cutoff. Niall Farrell and Marti Roca De Torres called out of the blinds and they headed four way to the flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Farrell and Roca De Torres checked and subsequently folded to a continuation bet of MacPhee for 210,000 and a call for Ho.

After the {9-Diamonds} turn, MacPhee bet 430,000 with around 950,000 behind and Ho eyed the stack of the defending champion before moving all in. MacPhee called to reveal the following showdown:

Kevin MacPhee: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Maria Ho: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

It was a big draw for Ho with the open-ended straight draw and flush draw, and a cruel {K-Clubs} on the river improved Ho to a straight and sent MacPhee to the rail in 10th place for €74,737. All remaining nine players will combine to the unofficial final table shortly.

Marc MacDonnell Eliminated in 11th Place (€58,455)

Niveau 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Marc MacDonnell
Marc MacDonnell

In the second hand of the new level over on the feature table, Marc MacDonnell moved all in from the hijack and Kevin MacPhee on the button asked for a count. The shove of the Irishman was for 825,000 and MacPhee called all in for 750,000 while Maria Ho and Stepan Osinovski in the blinds folded.

Kevin MacPhee: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Marc MacDonnell: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

"I like my chances," MacPhee said before the flop fell {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Suddenly the defending champion was drawing to the case nine or running outs for a full house, as the {9-Diamonds} would give MacDonnell a flush. Nothing changed with the {10-Hearts} turn, but low and behold, the magical {9-Spades} river improved MacPhee to a set.

One hand later, MacDonnell shoved for his last 70,000 first to act and Marti Roca De Torres reraised to 135,000, forcing everyone else out.

Marc MacDonnell: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Marti Roca De Torres: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop was quite a sweat for MacDonnell, but the {3-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river bricked to send the Irishman to the rail in 11th place for €58,455.

Andrei Boghean
Andrei Boghean

Over on the feature table, Luis Rodriguez limped in from the small blind and Andrei Boghean raised to 145,000 in the big blind. Rodriguez reraised to 400,000 and Boghean moved all in, Rodriguez quickly called and both players turned over their cards with very similar stack sizes.

Andrei Boghean: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Luis Rodriguez: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and the stacks were counted. Rodriguez had 1,820,000 and Boghean was covered by fewer than two big blinds to join the rail in 12th place for €58,455.

Kevin MacPhee Looking for Back-to-Back WSOP Europe Main Event Wins, Maria Ho Leads, Restart at Noon

Kevin MacPhee
Kevin MacPhee

There are 12 players remaining in the WSOP Europe Main Event including defending champion Kevin MacPhee. MacPhee will have some work to do entering the day as the second shortest stack (1,060,000) when play resumes at noon Thursday.

Maria Ho leads the way with 3,850,000 and is seeking her first WSOP gold bracelet and major title. She spent the middle portion of the tournament griding a medium to short stack and found her footing after she made a controversial fold against Niall Farrell.

Ho had pocket tens in the big blind and the action before her was pretty intense. Rainer Kempe opened from the hijack and Kristen Bicknell called from the button. Farrell three-bet and Ho called from the big. Kempe and Bicknell both called as well. The flop was jack high all hearts and Ho flopped a set. She folded after Farrell went all in for about 1,000,000. Ho's fold seemed to catapult her through to the end of the night as she continued to climb and almost bag a chip lead of almost half a million.

Farrell was the one who closed the gap at the end of the night earning a double elimination. He got all in against two players, each of them held an ace. Farrell had the bigger ace and when each player failed to improve, Farrell won the hand.

Below is the seating chart for play today. The current plan is to play until six players today and return tomorrow to complete the tournament. Each of the remaining players is guaranteed €58,455 and the winner will take home €1,115,207 and the WSOP Europe Main Event title along with the WSOP gold bracelet.
