Speranza Sets the Trap

Niveau 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Gianluca Speranza, Winfred Yu, and Manig Loeser all had 105,000 invested in the pot preflop.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Speranza checked from the small blind. Big blind Yu decided to bet and he put in 125,000. Loeser folded immediately, but Speranza made the call.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and both players still in the pot checked. Speranza checked on the {A-Hearts} river and was setting the trap, but Yu didn't fall for it as he checked behind.

Speranza opened up {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and he took down the pot after Yu mucked.

Sekularac Shoves on Gonzalez and Chan

Niveau 9 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The flop read {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs} with around 300,000 in the middle already.

Ognjen Sekularac had the all-in button in front of him from the big blind and Fabrizio Gonzalez (cutoff) and Wai Leong Chan (button) both had a bet of 204,000 in front of them.

Sekularac stack was worth 1,107,000 and Gonzalez was in the tank. He took about a minute before folding to leave Chan up for the decision. Chan contemplated for a while too while the rail kept creeping closer to try and see what was happening until a floor told them to keep their distance. Chan ended up folding.

Thorel Rivers a Flush to Double Up

Niveau 9 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, James Chen led out for 135,000 from under the gun. Jean-Noel Thorel shipped all in for 725,000 on the button and Chen asked for a count before making a sigh-call.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
James Chen: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs} on the turn was safe for Chen but the {a-Hearts} on the river gave Thorel a flush to double up.
