Riess Keeping His Head Above Water

Niveau 15 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Ryan Riess raised it up to 850,000 on the button and Paul Phua called from the small blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and both players checked to the {2-Spades} on the turn.

Phua led out for 1,150,000 and Riess stuck around to see the {7-Clubs} on the river. Phua checked this time and Riess splashed in a bet of 1,700,000. Phua thought for a moment and then decided to ditch his cards.
