Lim Hits an Ace to Triple Up

Niveau 16 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Chin Wei Lim
Chin Wei Lim

Chin Wei Lim was down to just 14 big blinds and moved all in for 7,300,000 in the cutoff. Cary Katz asked for a count on the button and re-shoved all in for over 35,000,000. Ryan Riess woke up with a monster in the small blind and stuck in the last of his 12,275,000 chips as well.

Chin Wei Lim: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Ryan Riess: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Cary Katz: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Riess was still out front with his pair of queens. However, the {a-Spades} on the turn gave Lim the lead. Katz had the only spade of the three players but the {6-Hearts} on the river bricked off. Lim earned a triple up while Riess picked up the side pot against Katz.
