Perfect Flop for Chen

Niveau 18 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

James Chen limped in from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Chin Wei Lim raised it up to 3,400,000 from the small blind with {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Chen called with the superior hand and the flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Both players checked and the {7-Spades} landed on the turn. Lim checked again but Chen finally tossed in a bet of 2,500,000 with the nut flush. Lim called and the {9-Clubs} completed the board.

Lim checked for the third time and Chen reached back for a bet of 7,500,000. Lim burned through his final three time extensions before finally laying down his hand.

Cautious Approach from Nitsche and Vogelsang

Niveau 18 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Christoph Vogelsang just called in the hijack with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The two players went to the flop of {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and checked to the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Both players opted to play a smaller pot with two more checks. The {q-Hearts} on the river made the board even worse for both of their hands and they both tapped the table once more. With the money bubble looming and a couple of other short stacks, it was a cautious approach that resulted in Vogelsang winning a small pot.
