Pierre Neuville started the action with a raise to 1,400 and Benny Glaser called next to him, followed by Nadim El Ammar in the cutoff and Michael Duerk in the big blind.

Aleksandr Merzhvinskii opened in middle position and Vojtech Ruzicka three-bet to 4,5000 next to him. It came back to Merzhvinskii who sent a four-bet worth 12,000. Ruzicka thought about his move for a minute and five-bet to 29,500, snap-folded by Merzhvinskii.
Jean-Noel Thorel min-raised to 1,000 under the gun and it was called by Tobias Peters on the button and Alessandro Laubinger and Ondrej Lon in the blinds.

Igor Yaroshevskyy raised to 1,200 from the cutoff and was called by Huseyin Arkun on the button and Siamak Tooran and Mehrzad Moadeli in the blinds.
