Madsen Recovers Against Zinno

Niveau 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Alexandros Kolonias opened the action with a raise to 210,000 and got calls from Jakob Madsen and Anthony Zinno, in the small and big blind respectively.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} all players checked.

The {2-Clubs} hit the turn and Madsen led for 500,000, holding {j-Spades}{10-Spades} with trip tens.

Zinno with {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} was the only caller and the {6-Spades} completed the board on the river. Madsen bet 630,000 this time and Zinno called, but his top pair wasn't enough to give him the pot.

One for Do and Martini

Niveau 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 225,000 and Anh Do called, as did Marek Blasko in the big blind. On the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop was checked and the {4-Spades} turn was checked to Do, who made it 350,000 to go and won the pot.

One hand later, Do raised to 230,000 and Julien Martini called from the big blind. They checked the {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and the {9-Clubs} turn. Martini bet the {3-Clubs} river for 455,000 and Do tanked for more than three minutes, which prompted Martini to call the clock.

Do let go and Martini explained "it was such a small pot and you take three and a half minutes. I wouldn't call the clock if it was a big pot."

Kolonias Chips Up

Niveau 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a blind versus blind hand, Alexandros Kolonias opened to 300,000 from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Jakob Madsen defended from the big blind with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked, as they did after the {6-Hearts} on the turn.

The {k-Spades} was a magic card for Kolonias in the river and he bet 500,000. Madsen tanked for a long time before calling only to see the bad when Kolonias tabled his cards.

Dario Sammartino opened to 225,000 from the cutoff and Anh Do called from the button along with Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the small blind. Rifat Palevic also called from the big blind.

The flop fell {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and action was checked to Sammartino who bet 300,000. Do folded but Jachtmann check-raised all in for 1,800,000. Palevic took a few seconds of reflection, then folded, but Sammartino made the call.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Sammartino had flopped a pair of queens but Jachtmann had flopped a set of fours. The turn came the {9-Diamonds} improving Sammartino's hand to two pair but that wasn't good enough as the {6-Diamonds} river filled up the board and Jachtmann stayed ahead to double up.
