Merten Gets There on the River for a Massive Pot

Niveau 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

We caught the action on the {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} with already 40,000 in the middle and four players in the hand.

[Removed:328], Elud Agnon and Adel Kabbani all checked to Thomas Merten in the hijack who bet 13,500.

None of the players in the hand wanted to let it go and we went four-way in the {2-Clubs} turn. It was once more checked to Merten who now fired 35,000 and found only one caller, Adel Kabbani.

The river was the{q-Spades} and Kabbani checked to Merten who quickly checked back.

Kabbani showed his hand {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens while Merten got saved by the river as he had {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Galanti Picks Up Some Chips

Niveau 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Joao Lima opened for 3,200 under the gun and Galanti called him from middle position as well as the big blind Sandro Pitzanti.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} and all three checked.

The turn had a {3-Clubs} and after a check from Pitzanti and Lima, Galanti bet 2,000 to get a call from both players.

The river was an {a-Spades} and actioned checked to Galanti who fired 3,000 this time getting a fold from Pitzanti but a call from Lima, who mucked his cards as soon as he saw the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} from Galanti.

Luigi Di Secli had raised and was three-bet by the player to his left to 15,000. Laurent Prudhomme then four-bet all in for around 100,000.

Di Secli had around 40,000 behind and took his time, with the clock being called. He apologized for the time he was taking before calling. The other player in the hand called.

Luigi Di Secli: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Laurent Prudhomme: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The king-high board of {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs} saw Prudhomme come out on top, with Di Secli eliminated.
