Urbanovich Departs; Caminita Busts Mohamad Then Busts Himself

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Arin Mohamad moved in preflop with his short stack and was only called by Demetrio Caminita.

Arin Mohamad: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Demetrio Caminita: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} runout eliminated Mohamad. While that hand was in progress, Dzmitry Urbanovich was leaving the tournament area. Shortly after the hand, Caminita was all-in and at risk but failed to escape busting out.

Welcome Back for Day 2 of Event #15: €3,000 NLH Closer

WSOPE Bracelet
WSOPE Bracelet

Welcome back to the second and what could be the final day of Event #15: €3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Closer. The final event on the World Series of Poker Europe schedule attracted a large field of 228 entries with just 50 players returning for Day 2 and a shot at the gold bracelet.

The opening day was full of action that saw players entering and exiting the tournament countless times with an unlimited re-entry option available for the first 12 levels. When the dust settled, it was Rachid El Yaacoubi that topped the leaderboard, accumulating a massive stack of 819,500 chips on his one and only bullet.

Some other players that ran up a healthy stack included Alessandro Pichierri (696,000), Romain [Removed:338] (662,500), Andrea Radicchi (488,500), and Saeed Rehman (465,500). They will all be the front runners in the dash for the cash with just 35 players getting paid. A min-cash will be worth €5,029 but they will all have their sights set on the first-place prize of €148,008.

The cards are slated to go in the air at 10 a.m. local time with the blinds resuming on level 16 at 2,500/5,000 and a 5,000 big blind ante. The levels will be 40 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every three levels. The scheduled plan is to play down to a winner but a judgment call will be made as the tournament progresses throughout the day.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the tournament floor to bring you all of the live updates en route to crowning a new WSOP champion.
