Bertu From Hero to Zero
Niveau 31
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
What started with a button raise by Christian Bertu escalated soon after when Lukas Pazma got involved from the big blind. It was a big flip for the biggest pot of the tournament so far.
Lukas Pazma: J♣J♥
Christian Bertu: A♦K♣
The two overcards of Bertu missed on the 5♥5♦3♠8♦6♦ board to send the Italian on a short stack.
Soon after, Bertu was all-in with the A♣Q♠ and looked up by Wladimir Gerner, who revealed the inferior K♠J♦. On a board of 8♠6♠3♥3♠A♠, Gerner rivered the higher flush and that brought the field down to the last 24 players.
