Boudeliou Loses Big Chunk to Kun

Niveau 31 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Samir Boudeliou open-jammed and Jiri Kun called all-in for 1,215,000 out of the big blind.

Jiri Kun: 88
Samir Boudeliou: 66

Kun had the superior pair and both suits covered. There was no surprise on the QJ5KA runout and Kun doubled, leaving his opponent blow four blinds.

Stefan Drusca on the same table has one of the biggest stacks in the room, seemingly only topped by Stephan Glausch one table over.

Kang Gets a Shove Through

William Kang
William Kang

In the final hand of the level, the three-way flop showed J94 and William Kang had checked out of the big blind. Frank Leykauf bet 180,000 for Jacques Scherer to call on the button. Kang then jammed for 1,020,000 and Leykauf reluctantly folded.

Scherer bemoaned that he only had thirty percent, which was great news for the jovial Kang. Eventually, Schewer folded his KQ and Kang first flashed the J.

"Your queen was dead," he added as he also flashed the Q right after.

"And my pocket tens were dead," Leykauf added with a big grin on the face.

Bahri Builds a Stack

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Safwane Bahri moved all from middle position for 730,000 and the action folded around to Roland Schweinstetter in the big blind. After counting out his chips, Schweinstetter made the call.

Safwane Bahri: A8
Roland Schweinstetter: A7

Bahri was in good shape to double, earning the pot after the J5K26 runout kept his kicker in front.

Bise and Bertu Bump Stacks With Jams

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Heads-up to the AJ10 flop, Emil Bise checked and Lukas Pazma bet 300,000. What followed was the check-shove by Bise for 1,225,000 and Pazma reluctantly folded.

Soon after that, the turn showed 9548 and Christian Bertu checked out of the small blind. Wladimir Gerner bet 350,000 out of the big blind and Tawfik Samih called in an early position. Bertu then moved all-in and forced out both opponents.

Glausch Chipping Up

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Three-way action on the 6Q5 flop saw Stephan Glausch fire out a bet of 200,000 from middle position. Stefan Pezzarossa called on the button while Florin Bilan check-folded in the small blind.

The J turn saw Glausch slide out another bet, this time for 500,000. That was enough to produce a fold from Pezzarossa, as Glausch continued adding to his growing stack.

Big Double for Ghashayar

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The recent all-in showdowns saw the departures of Caren Pidjoian and Christian Ewers with Christian Bertu jumping into a big stack. It was then also Bertu who raised and Iman Ghashayar defended the big blind.

The QJ10 flop saw Ghashayar check-shove for 1,665,000 and Bertu called with the superior stack.

Iman Ghashayar: J10
Christian Bertu: K8

Bertu's open-ender picked up some further outs with the 8 turn but the 7 river changed nothing. Despite four hearts on the board, Ghashayar held on for a large double.

Four Tables Remain in the Mix

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Another five minutes are gone and three players see their chances vanish in quick succession. Zlatin Penev was the first to fall followed by Andrea Zacharova.

Last but not least, Marin Dragutan flopped top pair with the Q5 on Q103 to get it in against Andras Balogh with the 52. The 4 turn brought an open-ended straight draw on top and the A river provided the flush.

That reduced the field to the last 32 contenders, who are now spread across four tables.

Tabacaru Exits as Pazma Doubles

Niveau 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Lukas Pazma
Lukas Pazma

Ion Tabacaru's short stack of 90,000 was already in the middle when Lukas Pazma shoved for 1,100,000 on the button. Iman Ghashayar took some time before sliding in the call.

Ion Tabacaru: A2
Lukas Pazma: AK
Iman Ghashayar: 77

Ghashayar's pocket pair was in front to start the hand, but the 6K10 flop saw Pazma take the lead. The Q turn and 4 river was no help to Tabacaru, who exited the tournament as Pazma doubled his stack.
