Ole Schemion and Wooram Cho got into a raising war on a 9♠7♦4♠ flop that resulted in Schemion getting all in for around 360,000 from the small blind against Wooram Cho in the big blind. Cho had Schemion covered and a showdown was held.
Ole Schemion: A♥A♣J♣10♦
Wooram Cho: A♠K♦K♣2♠
The 6♠ turn drilled Cho's flush draw and left Schemion drawing dead.
An irrelevant Q♠ completed the board and Cho massively extended his chip lead while Schemion exited the tournament area.
Anson Tsang: XxXxXx / 10xKx3x10x
Viktor Blom: 3x2x2x / 7x10x6xAx
Jerry Odeen: XxXxXx / 6x9x5x4x
Anson Tsang was at risk as Jerry Odeen and Viktor Blom battled for the main and side pots. Odeen led out on fifth street, with Blom making the call.
Odeen then check-raised a bet from Blom on sixth street and the call was made. Odeen then check-called one last bet from Blom before seeing the bad news.
Blom showed his seven-six, good enough to take both pots as Tsang mucked on his way out of the tournament area.
Hok Lee and Dainius Antanaitis were in for four bets each preflop and the rest of Lee's chips went in on the J♥J♠10♠ flop. Antanaitis called to put Lee at risk and hands were revealed.
Hok Lee: A♣A♥A♦2♠
Dainius Antanaitis: J♦7♣3♣2♦
Antanaitis had flopped trip jacks and the 8♠ turn and 6♥ river kept Antanaitis best — eliminating Lee in the early going of Day 2.
Renji Mao was all in preflop and was facing two opponents. Jerry Odeen and Maurizio Melara traded bets through the 8♠Q♥2♥A♦2♦ runout before all three hands were shown.
Renji Mao: A♥10♥9♠3♦
Jerry Odeen: A♠K♦5♠4♣
Maurizio Melara: K♠J♦4♠3♠
Odeen's king kicker along with two pair played for the high, while Melara secured the low. Mao was left on the outside, ending his run early on Day 2.
