Saffran Hits Broadway on the River
Niveau 4
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
With 4,000 in the middle at the turn with the board of Q♣J♠8♣7♦, Manig Loeser bet 2,300 from middle position and was called by Robert Saffran in the big blind.
The A♥ on the river prompted Saffron to lead for 7,900. Loeser went into the tank and opted to call. Saffran tabled K♣10♠ for the nut straight and dragged in a hefty pot.
